Currently, I work as a technical advisor on transitional justice to the international court ECCC in Cambodia on behalf of GIZ. Additionally, I am writing a non-fiction book on colonialism.

Previously, as an independent consultant, I designed and implemented a strategic litigation for reparations for colonial crimes in Namibia. I am a lecturer on human rights enforcement at Humboldt University, decolonial legal theory at Bucerius Law School, and international law at Alice Salomon University.
As a program director at the European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights, I advanced its work on decolonization and art & law. I edited the book Decolonial Legal Criticism and Practice and co-curated several symposia at the Akademie der Künste. From 2010 to 2019, I directed the Humboldt Law Clinic for Fundamental and Human Rights. At the Chair of Public Law and Gender Studies, I worked on feminist legal theory and gender equality.
In addition to the State Examination in Law, I hold an MA in Interdisciplinary Latin American Studies, and focus on the transformative potential of art. I was the founder, editor, and publisher of the bilingual literary magazine alba.lateinamerika lesen, and regularly translate poetry from Spanish to German.
